I served a traditional apprenticeship in the electrical contracting industry as an Electrician. After that foundation, I worked my way through many aspects of the electrical trade and in a career spanning over 40 years have served in the following roles: 
Installation Electrician. 
Service Engineer. 
Maintenance Electrician. 
Maintenance Manager. 
Project Manager. 
College Lecturer (Electrical Technology).

During my working life I have made a point of only working for reputable companies such as Royal Mail and Securicor etc. I have always been interested in my craft and this interest, coupled with my experience has given me an extremely wide knowledge-base of electrical technology and applications. 

Additionally, I have the benefit of a lifetime working in the electrical installation and maintenance fields installing services and finding solutions to problems. 

I firmly believe in maintaining CPD and easily complete more than 60 hours a year by visting exhibitions, seminars and training courses whenever possible. 

I offer training and consultancy services to the electrical engineering sector and organisations using electrical services. I offer basic electrical training, upskilling or advanced training.

I can deliver training or consultancy within an organisation or be based externally.
 
I also enjoy a challenge and don’t mind stepping outside of the usual, if I can’t find a solution to a problem, I bet I know someone who can.
